Easy to use

I love that Turbo Tax imports from previous years and helps this disorganized person be more organized. I also enjoy being able to do it at my own speed and monitor what I input.
Have used Turbo Tax before and will continue to use it, just wish I didn't have to pay e-file for each of the States.

What's great about it: Love it imports information from previous years.
What's not so great: Dislike having to pay e-file charges for the States.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

not good news though

Overall t it is a great product, but since is my first time doing by myself I've got the impression I'm paying more taxes than I should, because the 3rd party used before used to get me returns nor dues.
What's great about it: very easy to handle
What's not so great: I'm not sure if I've got overpaid taxes
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Simply the best!

I am a very experienced tax preparer and love turbo tax. It is very user friendly at all levels and allows both step by step as well as forms input options. I must use other tax programs in my employment but always choose to use Turbo Tax at home.
What's great about it: Very easy to use and navigate. Clean and consise directions and questions

deductions and HSA

I don't understand the specifics of how HSA and taxes work if one does or doesn't have leftovers, etc., and Turbo Tax does nothing to explain what it's asking for or why.
AND I spend two days gathering all the deductions it asks for only to be told that will be ignored since it's less than the standard deduction! How about putting that up front and along the way, e.g. "ok, you now have x in deductions, unless you have another z, you needn't bother."
What's great about it: takes you through them all
What's not so great: Does not explain or give amount below which needn't bother

Easy to do

I have used this program for almost 10 years now. As my returns have gotten more complicated the solution keep getting better.
I will be back next year as well

What's great about it: year after year the program makes filing taxes easy to do. As well it helped me stay on track and get it done
What's not so great: Wish I could move it to different computers to work on both mobile and at home

Turbo Tax helped with additional credits since it prompts you with questions that can lead to more money back!! Walks you through the process step by step and reviews it at the end to see how things look before you e-file.
What's great about it: Helpful questions yields a greater refund
What's not so great: nothing
