Easy to use

I will continue to use Turbo Tax because it helps organize this very disorganized person, and I can control the information I input. and at my own timing. Not sure if a CPA could do better. Where I do have a rub is having to pay the e-file amount for the States - but I'd probably have to do that with a tax professional anyway.
Thank You for fitting into my schedule!
What's great about it: Love it imports information from previous years.
What's not so great: Dislike having to pay e-file charges for the States.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great software!

I used TurboTax to run tax scenarios for accepting a new job--either W-2 full time employee or 1099 contractor. It worked great!
I love the interview questions and the ability to switch back to the actual forms. The interviews help me to discover tax saving areas I haven't thought of. I still learn something new about my taxes every year.
What's great about it: great interview questions, ability to test scenarios
What's not so great: nothing worth noting

Turbo Tax allows the more experienced user to use a subject-driven entry method while less experienced can follow a Q & A method. The continual display of refund/payment helps the user to identify big errors immediately (such as switching taxable gross with Federal w/h). The automatic reviews and audit assessment are also helpful. Althogether a simple tool for a complex process.
What's great about it: Continual display of refund/payment as return progresses
What's not so great: Can't think of anything I dislike

ITS EASY TO DO YOUR OWN TAXES, DON'T NEED TO PAY AN ARM AND A LEG TO DO THEM. PLUS YOU HAVE THEM IN YOUR COMPUTER IF YOU NEED THEM. GREAT INVESTMENT

Getting easier and easier
