I couldn't print individual pages, one at a time.
I couldn't have refund applied to next year's taxes.
The New York State return added back all of the interest earned by a municipal bond fund, including he amount of dividends/interest that was earned by new york municipalities, which is tax exempt to New York residents.

Overall I like Turbo Tax and have been using it for a least the last 10 years. I think it can be improved by providing examples so the user can check to see if they are on the right track and can check for correctness. take the time to review what the feds and state are looking for and prepare an example for our use. I spent too much time looking for example calculations and was not sure if I was right. My problem had to do with Carryovers. Also, ask if a business has been sold. I sold a business in 2010, reported info in 2011, but still required to fill out business forms in 2012 return. This should not be necessary.
What's great about it: I liked the step by step approach
What's not so great: did not provide examples on calculations so I can check to see if I was correct.

Got large refund, program hard to use for students

I liked the calculator on top that updated me constantly on my return. I also mostly liked the Q&A format of the program. However, I would have liked if the Q&A format somehow showed me where the numbers I was entering was going on the form so later, when I compared the information I put in with the information on the form I would know what went where (perhaps there is a feature, I didn't look too hard for it). The program also wasn't designed to allow you to pick up exactly where you had left off. I found myself searching several times for where I had left off the previous day. Additionally one of the questions asked "how much was spent on tuition?" I didn't get a 1098-T since I got more scholarship/grant money than was paid in tuition, so I wasn't sure if, for this question, I needed to put how much was spent on my schooling or how much I PERSONALLY spent on tuition. Some clarification in this area would help immensely, since looking on the online help I could see several people with this question and no answer from TurboTax. Thank you!
What's great about it: E-filing and automatic form fill-in
What's not so great: Hard to save and quit program and come back to the spot I was working on

Great to Work With!

This is a great service; very easy to work with and have for 2 years now. Just a little disappointed that I was charged almost the same amount as the Deluxe Package cost to add an additional state when I didn't have to pay anything extra to do a non resident additional state with the disk I bought and uploaded last year. Since I didn't efile my state - it seemed to be an excess charge.
What's great about it: Easy to follow - step by step
What's not so great: Extra charges for download compared to disk I bought last year
