I've used Turbo Tax for a number of years and I find it to be an absolute joy to use! It's practically "Idiot-Proof"!

Instead of gathering up your supporting documentation and carting them off to a waiting room and waiting for a tax professional to take your information, use Turbo Tax in the comfort of your own home in about the same time with the added ability to enter your information as you wish on your own time when you have time to work on it. Why do it any other way?
What's great about it: Takes you step by step through any tax situation clearly.
What's not so great: None. Answers all your questions.

Review on Turbo tax

Overall had great experience with Turbo tax. By using it, have saved money from going to tax advisers and saved a lot of time on filling out different tax forms. Will continue to use Turbo tax in future.
What's great about it: Fairly user friendly, efficient and reliable. The ability to carry information year to year and to import information.
What's not so great: Explanations and notations should be expanded.

HAD A PROBLEM WITH MULTIPLE STATE ENTRY.

I purchased the second state before I started my Federal return. When I was done with the Federal return, I started on my states returns.
When the first state return was done, the program did not go to the second state. This created problems with the states filing!

love how easy it is to walk through and go back if needed. have used for several years since I sold my business and got rid of need for CPA. will continue to use and recommend.
