My greatest dislike is an old TurboTax issue: having to move the mouse from one corner of the page, usually the upper left to click on an answer to the lower right to click "Continue." It has been this way for many years and I hate it each time I start my taxes so I decided to complete the survey this year. Also, it previous versions, a 'button' allowed user to print a return for mailing and for records. I didn't see one this version. I use both e-filing for federal and mailing for state. I know TurboTax would prefer all e-filing to get their twenty dollars but if I have to pay the state, I'm not adding in twenty dollars more. Bring that button back.
What's great about it: Ease of use; I like the guide feature for such a complex subject
What's not so great: Distance from clicking an answer to clicking "continue" is too great.

imports of prior years are seamless.

What's not so great: bit confusing on educational especially 1099Q

Deduction and refund details explained concisely with 2 exceptions - one is what legal fees are deductible could have been explained more clearly and the other - how to calculate sales tax for NYS for online purchases was not understood. I just choose the standard, which I am sure is the category most people fall under.
What's great about it: Almost all details are explained clearly
What's not so great: The NY state tax for on-line purchases could have been explained better.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax is Fast as can be

Easy, efficient, excellent!

This is my second year using TurboTax, and I feel very confident about the accuracy of my return and the amount of my refund. Last year I received another tax program free in the mail and decided to do a side by side comparison and entered my information in both. TurboTax was easier and had a larger refund!
What's great about it: Easy questions, quickly goes through return items

Turbo Tax Review

I will continue to use Turbo Tax every year. I could do the return manually, but the time savings along with the extra deductions and tax credits mentioned that I might have missed, are well worth the price of the software.
What's great about it: Fast, easy and identifies other deductions and credits I might have missed.
What's not so great: None
