Crashes and Data Loss Limit Usability.

Would have given a much higher rating if program was more stable. I experienced several crashes. When I was ready to stop for a break or for the evening I saved my data. When I reopened TurboTax (Mac version) i had to manually reopen my saved return and several times I found that data I had previously entered was missing and had to be retyped. Subsequently, I kept TurboTax running continuously and never allowed my Mac to go to sleep. No problems with lost data afterwards.
What's great about it: Relatively easy to use. Built-in assistance and worksheets were very helpful.
What's not so great: Crashed several times (Mac version). Had to re-enter data several times upon restart after quitting for the night.

Made my tax experience Much Less Taxing!

This product covers every nook and cranny of the tax system. It steered me down the difficult tax road with flawless perfection, and it was actually fun to fill in the blanks. The product was also a learning tool for me, as I learned as I went with regard to the tax changes that affected me vs. last year. Overall, a Great Experience!
What's great about it: Easy to use and had helps all along the way. Great support!
What's not so great: None!

Deluxe seemed to over ride Premier every time I tried to use it. Deluxe would not go away, even after deleted it.
What's not so great: started out with deluxe, then went to premier. had trouble get premier to load up.

I use turbo tax every year and love how easy, but thourogh it is. I have peace of mind when I submit my returns every year. The one con is that is did download onto my computer--it may just be a problem with my computer, but it was frustrating. Fortunately it worked well on a laptop I borrowed.
What's great about it: easy to follow instructions
What's not so great: trouble downloading onto other computer

The Easiest Ever

This is the fifth or sixth year that I have used Turbo Tax. Each year it gets easier and I have complete confidence in my returns. I appreciate the final reports (summaries) that are generated so that I can compare this year's return with recent years.
What's great about it: Info very easy to enter
What's not so great: No major criticisms

Overall greast product

I had a few new tax situations this year that made me consider going to a professional. However, chatting with a tax expert in real time made me more confident in my abilities and TurboTax was able to help me get though it all easily. I can't say painlessly since taxes are always painful. I still am a firm believer that unless you have some really complicated taxes, businesses, etc., anyone can use TurboTax successfully.
What's great about it: You are walked through each dection step by step. The questions are clear and concise.
What's not so great: It was not clear until the end what forms were going to be filed.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Improvements ???

Overall I liked the software but there is always ways to improve... at the end of the return maybe have suggestions to do x y and z.
What's great about it: step by step getting it done
What's not so great: deductions... make categories... if you are then you should...
