Great as usual!

I've used Turbotax since 1995 and can't imagine doing taxes without it. It's not perfect but I love it anyway.
I always ignore the "step-by-step" process and go straight to forms - that's best for those who are familiar with taxes.
Beware: Switching to step-by-step after filing out the forms directly may cause the strange loss of some information you've already entered. Learned the hard way.

What's great about it: Comprehensive, time saver, convenient

Easier to use than before

Thorough, with improved tools that simplified the preparation of my return. Will use it again next year. I recommend Turbo Tax to anyone regardless of simple or complex their return may be.

I have used Turbo Tax for several years. It transfers data from previous years well and it is easy to follow. a few drawbacks--it is sometimes difficult to get back to previous questions on the interview directly, you have to thumb through the questions to get to where you want to go. It is also sometimes difficult to directly trace the origins of a number found on a form. Also you can not alphabetize the entries on the charities deduction page.
It does make filling out schedule C fairly painless and they have improved some of the questions on that part of the interview.
What's great about it: Easy to fill out
What's not so great: Sometimes hard to find specific sources of data

Easy to file

Really like using Turbo Tax. I've used the software for years and always come back to it.
What's great about it: Easy to file, walked me through all relevant information that I needed
What's not so great: Still unsure how to report some types of income (ie. if only a portion of my income is earned in a foreign country)

Great but not as smooth as laste year

Everything went great except for when I was ready to e-file my taxes. There was a problem connecting to Intuit to pay for my state transmission. Waited unitl the next morning when it was finally able to complete the transaction.

Have been using Turbo Tax for years, and it gives me the confidence I need to file my own Taxes. I plan to use Turbo Tax as long as I am able to file my own taxes.
What's great about it: To my knowledge Turbbo Tax prompts me for every scenario based on the info the intital interview

Easy as pie!

Easy to follow. Very fast process. A returning customer.
What's great about it: Great benefit that my prior year return was imported. Saves tons of time. easy to follow/understand. Very quick process.
What's not so great: would be nice if the State e file was included at no extra charge.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Waste my time

For deductions: The program ask all these in depth questions to find every little deduction when most individuals in the lower income class already know if they have anywhere near enough deductions. I didn't see anywhere I could skip and go right to the standard deduction.
What's great about it: Has all the forms I need
What's not so great: Ask in depth questions when time would be saved asking an overall general question first
