SAVE TIME - USE TURBOTAX

START UP COSTS FOR A NEW RANCH WERE CONFUSING IN THE IRS INSTRUCTIONS FOR SCHEDULE F(FARM). ONLINE HELP FROM A TURBOTAX CONSULTANT(CPA) SOLVED THE PROBLEM.
WITH TURBOTAX YOU HAVE YOUR OWN CPA AT NO ADDITIONAL COST.

What's great about it: QUICK AND EASY TO USE FOR SOME COMPLICATED FORMS

Over all, I have come to depend on Turbo Tax for the preparation of my tax returns. I used to do it all by hand, but after starting to use Turbo Tax, I will never go back. I have a family member that uses the professional version, and he relies on it for all situations.
What's great about it: I really appreciated the ease of following the prompts to get full credit in all categories.
What's not so great: Sometimes i was ot familiar with the terminology

I like it because it was easy and fast but I didn't like was the extra fees.
What's great about it: Everything was easy!!!
What's not so great: Extra FEES!!!

I had to pay a lot of money to the IRS, so give me the money!
What's great about it: Do it yourself, low cost
What's not so great: With certain tax situations it would be nice to talk to someone.

Turbo should show its fee and any additional fees upfront.
What's great about it: Walk through screens
What's not so great: Does not alert you in advance that e-filing the state return is an additional fee along with Turbo state fee.

I have used TurboTax for many years. This year's big surprise was the unexpected Indiana reduction for filing on time.
