TT for Life

I been using TurboTax for many years and always feel confident that my return is done correctly. I just introduced my daughter to the program and also did my Dad's taxes this year.
What's great about it: Easy to follow process.
What's not so great: Would like to default to a manual mode.

It is a great program. I just need to make sure I save all my receipts so I can have everything ready for next year.
What's great about it: I love how easy it is to do your taxes
What's not so great: There was only one question it kept back to, but then I just skipped it. I didn't know what it meant.

Overall, we really like this program. It's easy to use and offers different levels for more complex taxes. We've used turbo tax for, at least 10 years and will, most likely, continue to.
What's great about it: Everything is in a good order, easy to follow
What's not so great: Having to check boxes that were already checked

NO SWEAT for another year

I've been using TurboTax for over 10 years. It is such an easy walk-through. I love that the info is carried over from year to year
What's great about it: Ease of input, carryovers from year to year

Saved Me 5K !

I have used TT for years and remember that specific areas in the program that gave me a problem in the past have been fixed. The ability to research specific tax forms to determine eligibility is an excellent option. I do not just insert numbers; I research and review some of the problem areas in the return that relate to my situation. The program prompted me to enter income for sick leave on my state tax return and saved us $950.00. In the event of a state audit I have form 2440 signed by the employer.Once I file I feel certain that I have paid the Government only what I owe them. When I used an Accountant in the past I always discovered errors. The errors cost me enough money that I had to file amended returns. The Accountant did not agree with my position; but the government did and returned my money. Turbo Tax is my only Accountant.
What's great about it: Consistent use each year promotes a learning curve.
What's not so great: TT never auto continues the program after software updates.

Great softwasre

The HR software said I was going to owe $5k which did not make sense and then it got caught in a software loop update... My friends always advocated TurboTax and so I tried the online... Low and behold, I was getting $1300 back... How can this be...???
