Really?

I have used Turbo Tax for many years. It has always been easy and helpful. But this year I had some new situations come up and when I clicked on the explain this it was really no helpful. Most of this was in the land sale area.
Then when I went to file it took forever for it to transmite and it kept saying it was a server error. Really bad timeing for this to happen

What's great about it: the easy guide
What's not so great: needs more explanations on complex questions such as land sales

Overall, I would consider this the easiest most cost effective way to file your taxes. My taxes were pretty cut and dry but still probably would have been lost without the easyguide. It took me 30 mins to get filed and payed and i'm very happy with the amount of money the program found for me to keep
What's great about it: I used the easy guide to file this year's taxes. It was incredibly simple and i saved a lot of money.
What's not so great: going back and changing some things for my business assets to a while to find but i used deluxe not h&b

Best choices of options to help you determine what you need to fill out your return. It was a quick process and easy to work with.
What's great about it: easy choices of options
What's not so great: having to pay to e-file state returns
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used Turbo Tax for years and I love the interview process and help.
What's great about it: I was able to import my information from last year and do my taxes in about an hour.
What's not so great: No real complaints.

Great product. I use it every year and I am a CPA so I know my taxes.
What's great about it: Easy to use - gets maximum refund

Consistent and Accurate

Year in and year out, Turbo Tax gets the job done for me consistently and accurately. I love the comparison to last year's return, which keeps me on the right path. While I don't like doing tax returns in general, knowing that Turbo Tax is with me at that time of year makes this process so much the better for me.
What's great about it: Step by Step Process Covers ALL Possible Deductions
What's not so great: Some IRS definitions are unclear.

Quick and Easy

I have used this for several years now. The first year was the hardest since I had to sort through my files to get the info. Next year was better because I was better organized. Subsequent years are a snap. Easy to use as it guides you through everything - step by step. Then double checks all your entries and guides you through the corrections. Just be very careful that you enter all your numbers correctly.
What's great about it: Just sit down with your paperwork and get it done. The better you are organized the faster you will be e-filing!
What's not so great: Be very very careful with data entry.
