This is the only software to use!

Every part of this program is great except it doesn't catch when there is a dependent conflict on two returns. I e-filed and the return got rejected because my daughter was claimed on mine and hers. I wish Turbotax would have caught that before I filed. I think it would have saved me money if I had known about that and fixed it before one of them got accepted. Other than that, all thumbs up. I will buy it again next year.
What's great about it: Easy to use!
What's not so great: Conflict resolution between returns

I think there is a glitch to the penalty and interest calculations - so I expect to here from Michigan that I owe more.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax just keeps getting better - although detailed - the guide me system is straight forward and easy to understand
What's not so great: The State Return indicated an penalty and interest and then when I went to the annualized method it just disappeared

I bought another brand of software last year to do my taxes because it was a few dollars cheaper, but was very disappointed. I went back to Turbo Tax this year and will never change again. Turbo Tax is so much easier to use. The questions are clear and easy to follow.
What's great about it: So much easier than the "other" software

Have used TT for many years along with Quicken (15 years?). No major hiccups to report. It seemed to get the quirks of W2s from state employees including 414h boxes, but could use more informative help screens on what the NJ worker 414h's could be and how to treat them. Prior versions had trouble with NYS worker pension contributions and how to treat the out-of-state treatment of same, but no longer an issue. New for us is child college tuition expenses, no issues.
What's great about it: painless, very familiar
What's not so great: nothing major

When going back to review a section, don't like having to re-answer the questions at the end of the section.
What's great about it: I like the easy guide
What's not so great: Keep the continue box in the same location on the page as you scroll from one page to the next.

I have used TT for many years. I have never had any issues with installing or using it. It imports last years info quickly as well as this year W-2. Quickly fill in the things that have changed or can be down loaded and done.
What's great about it: Purchased, installed, imported, answered a few quick sections and done
What's not so great: -
