Outstanding software

I enjoy it. It takes a while but it is worth it. I did find the State tax a bit frustrating becuase the is little you can do to get money back from state (CA). Unless you know some tricks. So you usually owe something on state even when you don't owe Federal. I found the state almost dummy proof but it made you feel like a dummy a bit because you think you are mising something but it basically is not. Should have line item notes so you can flag it if you do not understand an action. When referencing prior return the line 3 would be helpful.
What's great about it: Allows you to maximize and to see differences and change your mind with out a hiccup
What's not so great: makes a few assumptions that may have you looking for a reference mostly when doing California/State return

Space Shuttle Fast

I have used turbo tax for that past 10 years and there is no better way to do your taxes. It is easy to use, fast and very detailed. I have found things that have saved me money every year that I have used turbo tax.
If you want and need your taxes done right then turbo tax is the way to go

Pretty Good

Pretty Straight forward on the Basics. Like that it imports wherever possible. W-2 import was seemless and automatic.

Great program. Easy to use

I love this program and will always use it. sometimes I select the wrong answer and when I get to the end the program wants my 'correct' answer on something I didn't mean to select. It is really difficult to get that straightened out sometimes.
What's great about it: all my info is loaded from prior years. easy
What's not so great: hard to change selections

Satisfying Experience

Would like to be able to see forms as they are completed. Also would like to be able to review IRS publications while completing your questions. WOULD LIKE TO SEE IRS DESCRIPTIONS OF DEDUCTIONS ETC.
What's great about it: Did not have to review 100 pages of filing instructions.
What's not so great: cannot review forms as they are completed until at the very end

Easiest Tax Filing

This was the easiest tax filing I ever did in years. Plus, the e-filing for both Federal and State was free for the State of NY.
