Quick and easy

I like the Turbotax works and has progressed through the years.
Suggestion: When you are done entering income and deductions, many times I have to go lookup something to enter or re-enter. It would be nice that once done with deductions, when you jump back to re=enter something that it jumps you back to review of return.,

What's great about it: The guide thru it all is very good.
What's not so great: Like return to end buttons

Done in Good Order

I've been using TurboTax for years and think that it makes filing taxes kind of fun. The feature that carries forward information from last year's form is very handy and time-saving. I do have some information to put in that can be kind of confusing, but so far no audits so I guess I am entering it in correctly. This year, at last, I could e-file my return! For the last few years some obscure form for a partnership investment kept us from being able to e-file, but Turbo Tax has apparently fixed that problem in the version I bought this year. So I'm a very happy camper this year. I don't have anything bad to say about Turbo Tax -- what a great way to get taxes done.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax finds all those obscure forms and fills them out for me. I don't have to "do the math" myself.
What's not so great: I kind of miss the funky music and talking advisors of old versions.

Hung up on one form, a K-1 with an error (?) that did not effect tax liability, and could not e-file. This after paying to e-file
What's great about it: general tax info and computation
What's not so great: stuck on a K-1, little corrective info and assistance

Always works for me

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and each year it just gets better even though the tax laws get more complex. I would have to seek help from a professional tax person to file if a program such as Turbo Tax didn't exist. All of our children/grand children now use the Turbo Tax system and we exchange information among ourselves easily because we are always reading from the "same page" so to speak.
My Turbo Tax program easily pays for its self each year because it really finds details that otherwise would have been missed or overlooked.
What's great about it: Walks me through an otherwise complex task. Is easy to do "what if" calculations. Easy to make change.
What's not so great: You need to know where to enter a number especially as Misc.. income

Another Year, Another Successful Filing

I don 't think anyone would ever say filing a tax return is fun, but TurboTax definitely makes it easier. With a little more refinement on entering miscellaneous deductions (for us Joes that use our personal vehicles for work, but aren't traveling salesmen), it may become the perfect way to file. It's definitely more accurate than my fat fingers on a calculator.
What's great about it: Great Help Files and Explanations Popups
What's not so great: Shouldn't need to do multiple updates if filling out and filing is done during the same session

I have used TurboTax for a number of years and this version is by far the easiest to understand and fastest to get through. The section recaps are visually better than they have been. Thanks for the improvements.
What's great about it: The easiest edition yet.
What's not so great: Can't think of any at the moment
