Most efficient software to get taxes done quickly

It gets better and more efficient to use every year! I appreciate how easy it is to use and makes sure you receive as much deductions or credits that you may be entitled to. I've used the business version as well and it's great and easy to use.
What's great about it: Ability to have both interview style or explore my own
What's not so great: While it's great to make sure that all of the credits and deductions are received, sometimes feels too lengthy

Burdensome tax burden

Using the software is better than doing the entire process using only the forms. However, the explanations are still confusing and many questions I have seen unanswerable.
What's great about it: I did not have to fill out all the forms myself.
What's not so great: Did not understand everything that was asked and the explanations were often too short.

Simple And Efficient

Every year I get physically ill at tax time. For the last three years TurboTax has made me feel like a hypochondriac. Thank you, TurboTax, for making a difficult experience as painless as possible.
What's great about it: Very friendly to a nervous taxpayer--Simple explanations of everything I wanted to know

Very powerful

Well thought out. Some confusion in the state return as the Education credit for donating to an educational program was not easy to find.
What's great about it: Orderly process
What's not so great: REquirement to look back to last year for some data
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Happy with ease of use

Used to do taxes for myself and ex for years "by hand" and it was complicated bc we had property, a home business AND worked three steady jobs..,yeah: don't ask!!!
Any way, the only time I did NOT do the taxes we got audited because the fly-by-night "person" he had do the taxes in a CRITICAL year....took a HUGE deduction that was not right. I treid to do "innocent spouse" but the Taxman prevailed... Since then have gotton rid of husband, and switched to Turbo Tax.. Although I KNOW I can do it myself, why give myself the headache??? Already had enough of those for over 20 years!! GO TURBO TAX!!!

Kept me clear of trouble

Fastest filing yet.
What's great about it: It kept a watch over my information and possible opportunities to reduce tax liabilities.
What's not so great: Navigation was a little jumpy from what I recalled in previous years.

Has saved us more than when we did taxes by hand

Importing data from forms and previous filings, data transfer to state forms, and electronic filing saved time and chance of errors. The guide process helped point out information we probably would have excluded if we completed our taxes by hand.
What's great about it: Importing forms data saved time and reduces chance of errors

Best Tax Software Ever

Turbo Tax is the easiest way to do my taxes. I have been using TT since 2008 and I love it. A lot of deductions that I can used to maximize my refund, instructions are clear, and I enjoy doing my taxes. Honestly, I have learned a lot about taxes since I started doing it with Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Easy to follow, a lot of deductions to be used
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
