Not the first time user, and as before, I would never want to use paper forms for anything but perhaps the very basic of tax returns (last year we used a professional service, but with the very high fees and no possibility to deduct the cost of tax preparation the following year, we decided to come back to TurboTax). This is a very intuitive and user-friendly program which guides you through the process of income and deductions. Recommend to start doing this a few days in advance (or months, if you expect a refund!!) to feel 101% comfortable. Definitely recommend TurboTax.
What's great about it: Ease of use, user-friendly, guides you through the process
What's not so great: None really, however the process requires some thinking (that's another plus though)

I been a Turbo Tax customer for at least 13 years. I would not not use any other tax preparation software. The in depth review of all income and deduction categories assures me that I am getting the maximum refund due me and my family. Thank you for a great product.

It needed better explanations in some areas, especially those dealing with students when both spouses are students.

If it hadn't been for an answer on the forum that told that a window opens BEHIND the current page and to look behind it so one can click on option to look for updates, I wouldn't have ever know what to do or how to get my taxes filed!
What's great about it: Option of going step by step guide or entering and going over what you want.
What's not so great: Only Frustrating part was getting updates for forms on my Mac.

I had difficulty in figuring out how to enter a refinace points and closing costs deduction. After repeated tries I got the job done. Your program wasn't user friendly enough to make clear what I needed to do at first but Turbo Tax didn't leave me stranded or in need of assistance. I am so pleased with Turbo Tax I don't think I will ever use another on line tax service.
What's great about it: Everything was available to complete my return.
What's not so great: I had one tough area to work around.

Yearly Job Made Easy

I've been using Tubo Tax since I was 17 and it works great. I used the web to raed how different deductions work, but I like the simplified way turbo tax explains everything. Makes this annual job much easier and less stressful.
What's great about it: Easy Step by Step Guide. Simplified Explinations
