TurboTax Has my Back!

I've always had faith in Turbo Tax and it's never let me down. Intuit is always working on ways to make it better and they DO listen to us. I recommend it to everyone I know! The ONLY negative I can think of is I wish they would make it easier to print out the detailed list of Charitable Contributions. It's possible to do, but you have to find the appropriate pages in the full copy of the tax return.......seems to me it would be easy enough for Intuit to add that capability. Otherwise I have nothing but good things to say about Turbo Tax. Gets easier every year!
What's great about it: Easier to use year after year!
What's not so great: Charitable Deductions detailed list should have a quick print capability.

Makes Taxes Almost Simple

I like Turbo Tax a lot..makes filing so much easier..now if it could just pay the taxes that would be great. I would love another option on the payment area when i don't want to send a check, but want to pay taxes using a payment website I already use.
What's great about it: Does Everything for Me..Reminds me what to check.
What's not so great: Need another option allowing me to pay taxes through a payment website I use

Fast and Easy to File

As usual, I waited til the last minute to file and found doing it this year was unusually fast and easy to do. Filed hours before midnight!!

State was stuck in a loop even after selecting purchase when I already purchased Federal + State software. Finally had to use another laptop to file returns.

Quick and easy refund

Turbo Tax is always easy and quick for filing my taxes. I am always pleasantly suprised by how fast I can file.
What's great about it: Simple easy walk through
What's not so great: Extra fee for Efiling state return

2012 - An Expensie Year

I have been using TurboTax since 2004 and it gets better every year. Educational and very thorough. You can read the tax reg nuances all night if you want to. We paid in big this year and that hurts, but I am confident that what could be identified and used, was in fact done so via TurboTax. There are times I wanted to print a page, print a chart, print a comparison screen ... and I got bogged down with the how to. Not as clear a way to do so as I would hope. Love the import W2 option. Did 3 fed returns, 3 state returns (2 -PA and 1- VA) for self/spouse, and two sons. Easy to download and move right into PA and VA returns.
I will be back next year for sure! Thank you for asking.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate. Good walk through the possibilities of what might apply to me / family. Educational. Thorough.
What's not so great: Not always clear on what I can print and when.

Fast & Easy

I liked that Turbo Tax was fast and easy and gave detailed explanation. It also saves your data from the prior year, which is very convenient in doing a comparison to the current year. I am not too good with the computer and had a problem with form updates and waited a few weeks for a button to press since I expected to upload automatically when forms are available. 2 days prior to the tax deadline forms were still not available as I was not updating forms properly. So I asked my husband to look at it and he resolved it instantly. E-filed on 4/14. However, it will not be accepted by the IRS until 2 days later. Therefore, our tax return was posted as received on 4/16.
What's great about it: Fast & Easy
What's not so great: 2 days turn around

Why I had to wait 3 hours for forms to be available without any ability to run updates was asinine. I don't ever recall TT having any difficulty eFiling.
