New Mexico State Tax forms download

The state tax forms downloaded well, but the program did not acknowledge that the download had occurred and would not allow processing of the state tax forms to happen.
What's great about it: accomplised quickly
What's not so great: Did not restart automatically, prevented processing

turbo tax was quick and walked me through step by step. It helped me find every credit I could take and get the highest refund possible

Easy to follow

This was my first use of Turbo Tax and it went well and easily. I am thrilled that I didn't have to pay a professional tax preparer a bundle of money for something I could do easily with Turbo Tax. It analyzed every possible deduction and explained clearly every step. I will continue to use it every year.
What's great about it: Step by step, nonintimadating instructions

ask whether 1040 schedules are needed and, if so, specify which ones at the beginning of process.
What's great about it: excellent for first time users to establish a folder for future use
What's not so great: no need for repetitive questions for established users if there no change in filing status it became annoying to many.

Could improve interface

Users do not have the ability to scroll with their mouse or mousepad, instead they can only navigate up and down on the active page using the scroll bar in the screen or with the Page Up/Page Down buttons. The ability to scroll with a mouse is standard on web and most PC-based applications and should be available here as well.

Simple as it should be

Very good product, i have used many years and is always easy to complete.
What's great about it: easy entry with good menus and screens, quick calculations and comprehensive.
What's not so great: does not easily allow testing of scenarios.

I use Quicken, but don't import my data. My info needs to be more accurate to maximize my deductions. Even entering from my copies of accounts, makes the process very easy.
I donate (Spring Cleaning) and ItsDeductible makes that process almost painless.
