Easy to use

Very straight forward, prompts for all the information, all the sections broken into neat categories, you can skip the ones that don't apply to you. Reviews your forms at the end to make sure you didn't make mistakes.
What's great about it: Imports from previous years and other financial software
What's not so great: Explanations and definitions in some areas can be confusing

I always use Turbo Tax to complete my tax returns. It is the quickest, most accurate way I know to complete tax returns.
What's great about it: The step by step guide is easy to use.
What's not so great: no cons

I did a first cut in early January when I had everything except the main brokerage statement and got a set of values for fed and state.
I've just done a final cut, including the brokerage stuff, which was lots of sells and a net loss and no other changes in figures, and found that none of the values for either of federal or state had changed. I don't think I believe that this can be true, especially since I owed the feds $100.

What's great about it: worked well w/ no snags, as far as I know
What's not so great: confusing when trying to exile

Keeps getting better

Great product to work with. However I didn't spent enough time reviewing and editing each entry under person information and so it introduce forms and thus errors into the final product which took me as long to get rid of as it initially took to enter this years info.
I got sabatoged by an ex (IRS will get them for it) and Turbo Tax walked me through what to do and what the process will be.
I have used Turbo Tax for at least 20 years and just keeps getting better and easier.

What's great about it: Easy to follow easy guide and it gets everything.
What's not so great: Carried forward unnessary entries from 2011

Great resource. Used to self prepare all my taxes for years. The first year I used Turbo tax. The program found a sizable nonstandard deduction I knew nothing about. I was sold.
Have used it several years now. Have not been disappointed.

Although I had to go through a lot of steps that did not apply it wasn't a problem. I felt confident that everything that I actually needed was there. If I ever felt confused I always found brief, clear explanations of what was going on.
What's great about it: Explanations when I was confused

This program is extremly easy to use. Answers to any and all questions are one click away. The answers are very simple to understand and implement. I have used Turbo Tax for many years and depend on it is accuracy and ease of use. Never fear getting the numbers wrong because safe quards are built in. Have never had a problem with this program and love it, THANKS!
