Pretty good, but a little harder than last year

It was a little funky getting started. I could not tell for sure it was using last year's info, but it did. Strangely, it would not import my W2 (it did last year and my employer is the same.) Nor did it import my INT income from Wells Fargo???
Also, I got to a place in my State return, which asked for a CODE, and there was no help on how to find it. I finally opened last years return, found the code from that, and it worked... Strange...
What's great about it: Imported my last year's TurboTax Info
What's not so great: Couldn't import my W2, got stuck in the State return

I have been using Turbo Tax for at least six years. I have found the software to be easy to use and I feel secure knowing my taxes are done correctly.
What's great about it: Turbo tax asks all the right questions in an organized manner
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I was unable to return to that question and change my answer. I finally was able to enter the information after getting help.
What's great about it: Mostly easy to use.
What's not so great: I had answered "no" to the question "Did you do work for which you did not receive a 1099? I later remembered I had.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Good experience, except for owing (meus-culpa)

I really like being able to switch back and forth between "Easy Interview" categories and the actual "Tax Forms" as they get filled out. I've been doing my own taxes for years, some years of my life were far more complicated than now and involved accountants. I have a pretty good idea what needs to go in the forms. Being able to switch back and forth gives me two perspectives and better confidence that I covered everything with changing tax law and still very complex IRS form/tax-table interactions on top of my changing finances. I also like the fairly complete, yet pithy consumer level "help" in the Easy Interview. I have no accounting/finance background and there are still new situations popping up in my ever changing tax existence.
I had a good TurboTax experience this year, except finding out I owe money and penalties after a pretty rough year (economy). At least TurboTax made this part easier than it would have otherwise been, and lets me sleep at night with confidence my tax situation is as right as I can make it.
If Intuit drops support for XP SP3, I hope support will be added for Linux WINE. I'm a Linux user now and newer MS-Windows versions haven't played as easily with Linux as Windows XP.
I would give TurboTax 5-stars if there were a compatible/Import/Export with other non-Intuit accounting products; i.e. create an Open Tax Interface File Storage Standard to provide more flexibility with -my- electronic financial tax data (i.e. continue to grow with my financial needs. This will allow me to export data to TurboTax [maybe for multiple users] from non-Intuit accounting products, like purchase sales tax tracking for individual customers). This might provide TurboTax with more product support (help grow the market). One individual customer did this and claims an additional $600 from his return this year over the default claim amount the state usually allows. And he has all the receipts to prove it!
I've been a TurboTax user ever since it was called "Mac-In-Tax" (~20 years?). Product improvements have generally been incrementally better with each passing year. I'm a regular customer.
What's great about it: (major) Contrast easy interview w/ real forms
What's not so great: (minor) One preview form poorly explained my penalty
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
