First Federal Refund in YEARS!

I am receiving a Federal Refund for the first time in about 20 years!
What's great about it: Easy to answer questions
What's not so great: not sure of all questions
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Very good, but...

Everything went smooth until I tried to e-file. Web site crashed or was unavailable for serveral hours. Had to check back multiple times and began to worry it would not be up in time. Eventually, my e-file went through.
What's great about it: clear, thorough interface
What's not so great: web site crashed on 4/14 when trying to upload

Easy to use and helpful

Overall extremely happy with TurboTax. I have used it multiple years and I will very likely do so again in the upcoming years.
Easy to use, good resources, explains tax lines/items well.
What's great about it: Easy of use, good guidelines, helpful suggestions
What's not so great: Had to pay for efile for state

I like the the additional explanations enabling me to understand the topics as I complete my return, and the possibility of its use for future planning.
The additional reading adds to the rate of completion. Maybe a voice activated link would be helpful to the preparer, so instead of reading, preparer can just listen to the instructions.

filing state

turbotax functions fine until you say you don't want to e-file state for the extra fee. Then the program leaves you hanging with little guidance on filing the paper state forms.
Also when trying to navigate backwards the program seems to get lost and misatribute data
What's great about it: it calculates state taxes easily and quickly
What's not so great: they cahrge extra to e-file the state

Smooth as silk!

I've been using Turbo Tax for the last 5 years. Its convenient and quick. Refunds are always returned quickly and the app is very user friendly walking you through the minefield that you can easily find yourself in while filing. I highly recommend. My only suggestion would be to by the program early in the beginning of the filing year as there seems to be better deals available during that time.
What's great about it: Detailed, walks through everything. quick and user friendly.
What's not so great: state return help could be a little better.

So Easy!

I am always a little nervous filing my taxes as my returns tend to be complicated. Turbotax guides me through the returns and reduces my stress level in an already stressful time. The step by step analysis of my income and deductions catches things that I am sure that I would miss on my own.
What's great about it: Love the GPS feature. TurboTax walked me through the filing process with ease and speed!
What's not so great: Some instructions were not clear but it was not so difficult that I couldn't figure it out.
