Easiest Year Ever!

This was the smoothest year I have ever had for my taxes. Turbo Tax was able to use my info from last year to simplify this years process. In addition to saving me time by filling things out for me, Turbo Tax kept things simple, providing additional information if I didn't know what category things went into, or if something qualified for a particular deduction or credit.

Quick, easy, accurate way to do returns.

What's great about it: Allowed the option to explore all credits/deductions.
What's not so great: I have a small screen and had to scroll quite a bit.

Would not import last years info.
Could have been the computer, but I have used this computer for the last 3 years doing my taxes with Turbo Tax and have saved it to the applications folder like the program told me to.
Will try again next year.

Getting harder to work with every year

If importing is an issue I might as well try another software solution next time. I have heard good things about HR Block tax software.

What's not so great: Would not import last years Turbo Tax info. I purchased software online last year. Had trouble figuring out how to do

2012 turbotax review

Like the program very much, but thought I would be able to file the state free. Instead had to cough up $19.99 and then another $29.99 to have the refund processed.
Makes me think I should return to doing my own.
This process cost me nearly $100.00 just today(01/26) and that doesn't include the cost of the Turbo Tax Package to begin the process of filing.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Became expensive to file

I HEART TURBO TAX

I HAVE BEEN GOING TO VARIOUS TAX ACCOUNTANTS FOR OVER 15 YEARS, AND FINALLY I DECIDED TO FILE MY OWN TAXES. I AM SO HAPPY THAT I DID THIS YEAR BECAUSE I HAVE LEARNED SO MUCH ABOUT ADDITIONAL TAX CREDITS AND DEDUCTIONS THAT NO TAX ACCOUNTANT EVER DISCUSSED WITH ME ABOUT OR GAVE ME THE DEDUCTION FOR! I FEEL LIKE I HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF BY THESE YAHOOS, BUT HERE IS TURBO TAX AND I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THIS PROGRAM BECAUSE NOW I HAVE NOT ONLY SAVED MYSELF $300 TO FILE TAXES SOMEWHERE ELSE, BUT I AM ALSO SMARTER GOING FORWARD TO THE NEXT YEARS TAX RETURNS~
What's great about it: I HAVE CONTROL AND AM BEING EDUCATED ON ADDITIONAL DEDUCTIONS
What's not so great: ? IT TOOK ME SO LONG TO FIND MY DATA...NOT T.T. FAULT!
