Why I like Turbo Tax

An excellent program, detailed yet easy to use.
What's great about it: I liked how Turbo Tax explained the different sections of the return process, and had an extra help link if desired.
What's not so great: None I can think of.

Streamlined my process

This was my first time using Turbo Tax and it was great! We had many capital gain transactions and I really appreciated being able to upload the details into Turbo Tax, saving me a lot of time.
This was also my first time to e-file, and that was a simple process as well. Using Turbo tax saved me a lot of time, filling out all of the forms and making it easy to print a copy for my records.
Thank you!!!
What's great about it: I really liked how easy it was to move through the screens - moving in a logical order.

Have used Turbo Tax for 10 years. Very helpful. Love the automatic inclusion of PY info. The walkthrough with questions is very helpful in making sure everything is covered.
What's great about it: Walk through of all topics helps ensure everything is covered.
What's not so great: Too many screens trying to sell me something else.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Turbo Tax 2012

Overall went very well. Wish there was a way to have more information on some of what qualifies in certain categories (ie more of the instruction information available for review).
What's great about it: Imported my info from last year and W-2 -saved time!!
What's not so great: No option to print an additional copy of the payment voucher.

Quickened My Refund!

The easy, step by step procedure, with a feeling of confidence that nothing was being missed, eliminated any feeling of stress. I also liked the way the program kept checking for updates, and also the way it kept checking for errors often, as the process proceeded. Thoroughly great was the effortless way the state form was completed! One complaint; the price of the software package seems to increase somewhat every year.
What's great about it: Easy step by step procedure, with confidence
What's not so great: One state e-filing should have been included in the price

It is as close to fun as it gets...

I love TurboTax and have been using it for years. It really is enjoyable once I have collected all the docs I need to fill in the information. My W-2 cannot be imported yet so that is a bit of a pain but I don't blame intuit for that. I wish there was no filing fee for State but overall, this software is a great value!
What's great about it: Easy, well explained
What's not so great: paying for State e-file
