Year to Year Carryover

Carryover of prior year's information saves a lot of time. Like the way that TurboTax makes carryover of personal information, W-2 headers, capital losses, AMT, etc. very easy and straightforward.
What's great about it: Year to Year Carryover of Information saves a lot of time

Trouble Free Refund

Before Turbo Tax, it took much longer to prepare our taxes. As a result, I filed an extension each year. Since I started using turbo tax, it’s so easy to complete our tax return. I no longer have to file an extension. Now with Turbo tax, we get the most refund possible and using e-file we get our refund quickly.
What's great about it: Turbo tax is easy and quick to use.

Easy Return

Easy. complete, and simple. The only challenge is gathering the necessary paperwork ahead of time, and TurboTax makes that easier too with their online connection to banks, institutions, etc. I've used Turbotax for 15 years now, and they make tax time MUCH LESS painful.
What's great about it: Very thorough and easy to use
What's not so great: Disappointed that I had to pay to efile State Return

Perfect for Procrastinators

I have always dreaded the burden of doing taxes for my family, but TurboTax makes it quick and easy and I don't have to worry that I did something incorrectly. I have 100% confidence in TurboTax.

I love this product. I did my taxes by hand the first time around so I would understand the process, and I'm glad I did. Now I get them done quickly, which is worth ten times what I pay for TurboTax.

Always Easy

If you have all paperwork and single it is cut and dry and I feel it is correct. Seems like there are too many pages that tell you 'GREAT JOB, WE HAVE ALL YOUR INFO', where you have to hit 'CONTINUE' again for no reason.
Even with all of the information in hand, seems like it is kind of slow going. All that said, I feel like everything is correct when I send it in.
What's great about it: detailed, double & triple checks
What's not so great: Too many "you did great" pages
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
