Great program; continues to improve

Most all entries were clear and well explained. It did not take much time to go through all the guided entries. One somewhat unusual situation -- a series of loans to a closely held corporation that were never repaid -- was hard to track down as to exactly how to handle. However, once I found some guidance, the entries went smoothly. Overall, highly recommended.
What's great about it: Easy to use; lots of explanations and guidance
What's not so great: Some details of help not easy to find

Overall it is very good; Could use more identifiable highlighting on the worksheet when more entries are needed
What's great about it: Using last years information; identifying what most people do in the unfamiliar areas; e-filing w/ credit card choices
What's not so great: e-file credit card option did not allow signing into my Turbotax account

This program is so easy to use and updates to current Federal and State requirements. This allows me to not worry whether I posted something related to my house or income incorrectly.
What's great about it: Walks me through all my deductions....
What's not so great: Never sure if I should uninstall the program after tax time...

Love Turbo Tax!

My husband and I filed jointly for the first time and Turbo Tax made it super easy to do. We were worried, as we had procrastinated until 4/14/12, but it was easy to complete our taxes with Turbo Tax. We were so excited to see the review that there were no errors, too!! Turbo Tax takes the terror out of taxes.
What's great about it: Very User-Friendly
What's not so great: Lots of Options that did not apply

I have used TurboTax for over 10 years and it just keeps getting better.The program catches mistakes I make and provides helpful hints and reminders. I like the flexibility to walk through my return on my own or use the step-by-step method.
What's great about it: Flexible in approach, intuitive and accurate
What's not so great: none that I have found

1st Time User-Lifetime Customer

My first time using Turbo Tax and it was so easy. I loved the step by step walk through and the ability to skip it if desired (as in next year). All documents electronically received needed for filing made it very easy. I am new to IRA contributions, I knew they were write offs but I was not aware that I could still contribute this year and put it towards the tax year. Also, being able to track what is due or owed in taxes as you go through everything made it less taxing, pardon the pun. That function made it fun to do what what everyone hates......TAXES. I am a lifetime customer, indeed!!!!
What's great about it: Easy to understand, even for 1st time user. Saved a few thousand $$ due to the outstanding explanations. Docs downloaded
What's not so great: None, really!!!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Good program, easy to use, but some issues

Good program that is easy to use - particularly if repeating from the prior year. Would use again. The only complaints are when filing the state taxes. Turbo tax asks for some $ figures that it could have pulled itself causing you to go into the paper forms for info. Also doesn't define the OH joint filing deduction very well (but there was some info in the help section). Also does not always help if it finds errors even if they are just items you need to delete. (forces you to fill in something, let the error go through or go to the forms to fix directly.
What's great about it: Easy to transfer files from past years, good explanations
What's not so great: No explanations for some required multi-state return info
