I edited a charitable deduction but the form printed with part of my original entry. I could not edit it out. I had to delete entry and re-enter. Also, when I edited part of the a description, it did not retain the part of the description I did not change. At the end when I chose
the file tab it did not come up until I logged off and tried again.

It makes easy and accurate to transfer data from previous file, and directly from w-2 on internet.
What's great about it: UPDATED APPLICATION

Thorough Analysis

Overall Turbo Tax did a good job for me to guide me thru and I would most likley use it againnext year. Would like to see planning for next year especially for a home business, i.e. how to maximize various business tax deductible expenses and Did you know...?
What's great about it: Turbo Tax guided me thru all the considerations that affects my filing situation
What's not so great: Deductions for IRA contributions and resulting tax liability was not explained clearly

It takes awhile for me to do my taxes as I review over and over. The good thing is I can do that. I like to do my taxes then take my mind off them for a week, then tackle the work again. I also take note of what I need to do to make my tax duty easier, even keeping files on our medical expenses and donations. Turbo Tax gives me peace of mind that I pay only my tax dollars that are due, and take full advantage of the otherwise impossible tax laws that I need to know to do that.
What's great about it: Allowed me to work at my pace and on my schedule.
What's not so great: Requires lots of trust in your product.

Very confusing in parts

Overall a decent program but i had to search the internet to find solutions to software glitches and i was left guessing to the meaning of various terms and phrases

Fantastic product. Easy to use. Help menus are written very clearly.

Why didn't I use TurboTax before

As a first time user I loved the simple step by step approach. It was easy and answered every question.before I had a chance to panic. I will ALWAYS use TurboTax from here on out.
