Turbo Tax Rocks!!!

I love Turbo Tax. I have done it for a few years and it walks you through all the areas. You can also do it at your leisure or all at one time. I will continue to purchase Turbo Tax each year and let others know "If I can do it...so can you".
What's great about it: Did not have to pay this year and got a refund

probabaly missed something

for example.... i had large business expenses on freight charges and charge backs on bad debt that wasnt revealed by the software at all... never would have caught it .. other than... i knew those were write offs... badddddd job on your part
What's great about it: easy and quick
What's not so great: there should be pop ups that ask questoins based on your entries

2012 filing at the last minute

ITurbotax 2012 was easy to use. I had not been the person doing my taxes in years and it was easy. I cannot imagine having to do taxes by hand ever again.
What's great about it: great walkthrough of all points
What's not so great: did not like extra cost to have state cost to file deducted from refund

14 Years and Loving it

Been a happy and secure user of Turbo tax for 14 years! I assume at some point as I increase the complexity of my tax situation I may have to go to a professional, but I have been able to do it since my first year of marriage. Nothing easier, in my estimation, out there! Love that they did away with the extra costs of Santa Barbara Bank and Trust fees being charged for direct deposit.
What's great about it: Step by step prompts to ensure all data is captured
What's not so great: inability to eaisly access a specific page within the return
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Exactly What I Wanted

I have used TurboTax for seveal years now. Several years ago, when our tax situation became more complicated, we decided to "play it safe" by going to a tax preparation company. We payed four times as much as TurboTax, and it felt like the tax "professional" was just asking us out loud the questions TurboTax asks. We returned to using TurboTax and have never looked back. It makes completing taxes 1,000 times easier, and offers everything a more expensive visit to a tax preparation company offers.
What's great about it: Thorough and easy to understand - for a good price.
What's not so great: None.
