Just finished helping my son with his taxes! He had a slightly different situation this year that I struggled to find an answer for. After being on hold with the IRS for a total of 4 hours with NO answer, I tried the online chat with Turbo Tax. Got prompt help from a person who actually talked like a real person and could answer my question! It was great! Wished I hadn't wasted all the time searching online for an answer!!
What's great about it: Easy! Accurate! Expert help available by Online Chat w/great and easy to understand answers!
What's not so great: Nothing!

Keep coming back for a reason

AMT is complicated and gathering the data from prior year returns would be nice. Also I would gladly pay a few bucks extra at the point of purchase to not have to pay to efile for state.
Otherwise the format keeps evolving and is easy to use.
Very nice software for a stressfull subject
What's great about it: I like the format, the pull of data from prior years and teh Q & A format
What's not so great: Would like the software to gather data from older forms for items like AMT

I've used Turbo Tax for several years. It's easy to use and feels like a "taxes for dummies" book--so simple I can even use it successfully! It's convenient, clear and organized. I like seeing my refund/amount owed change as I go along. It's amusing at times, which is nice because taxes are a grueling process and it's good to have a bit of humor in there. Would definitely recommend it for someone with simple taxes, like me, who doesn't need to have theirs done by an outside individual/company.
What's great about it: Easy to use, consistent, helpful tips, funny at times

I find Turbo Tax really easy to use and just a overall great product.
What's great about it: Nice and easy to use for someone who wouldn't regularly do their own taxes
What's not so great: time consuming but hey what isn't
