EZ as PIE

Turbo Tax has always been SUPER EZ to use. I find it relatively inexpensive and ALWAYS use it. I even used it years ago (ealry 2000's) as a check when I would have my taxes done for me. Once I was sure I trusted Turbo Tax I have used it as my main option since.
What's great about it: It was so easy to use and also to edit if you needed to go back.
What's not so great: I had ZERO issues.

Finally Done

I've used Turbo Tax for years. It iso a good tool, but the programmers make to many changes from year to year. I often feel like i'm trying to learn a new program. This year, the last few screens (e-filing) did not display properly, and the printing screens seemed to be out of sequence.
What's great about it: Does all the Math
What's not so great: Should be more intuitive

Stress Buster

I love TurboTax and urge everyone I know to use it. All I have to do is save my documents in a folder. Come tax time, I sort them into piles and just follow TurboTax's lead, answering questions and entering numbers. I refinanced my house this year and was afraid that the tax ramifications would be hard to understand, but again, I just answered the questions and filled in the numbers. The little help windows accessed by clicking on a blue word or phrase really are helpful. I also sold some foreign stock and got led through that situation with no stress to me. I just wish I didn't have to file as a singe person, but TurboTax can't do anything about that!
What's great about it: Step by step clear instructions. I just keep my documents and receipts all year.
What's not so great: Figuring our how to enter points from refinancing took a couple of tries.

Turbotax to the rescue!

I have been using Turbotax for the past 12 years. Its the easiest and most convenient way of doing my taxes. In fact, I should say that its the easiest way to do my taxes AND my parents' taxes AND my sister's taxes because I seem to have inherited this duty over the past few years. But not a big deal because I can quickly transfer everyone's info into a new return AND with the deluxe version, 5 e-files are included so it is a more cost efficient way to approach it. And I don't even have to leave the house to buy the software because I can just download it from the website. And all of my (and my family's) returns are stored electronically on my hard drive (encrypted and backed-up) for easy retrieval and without all of the paper! What more could I ask for?
What's great about it: Downloadable, easy to use, 5 federal e-files with deluxe, e-storage of returns, provides links to IRS publications
What's not so great: Difficult to search for topics in Turbotax community
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What's great about it: easy to carryover and compare to previuos years, make it easy and fast.
