superb refund

The program should tell what I can't claim as a dependent before I spend time filling out detailed information in the education deduction section.
What's great about it: quick
What's not so great: the back button
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I would like to see a "I want to claim nothing, and I am a single dependent" option. 90% of my time in Turbo Tax is clicking no

Turbo Tax

I've used Turbo Tax for the past 15 years or so. It continues to improve with each year, making the process of filing tax returns more consumer friendly. No real qualms or bugs this year. Everything went smoothly (other than the whole tax due thing)
What's great about it: Very easy to follow
What's not so great: You have to pay tax!

20th Century software

Seriously - is this program stuck in 1982? Why isn't it possible to export a previous year return that was done online into the CD version? And why is the CD version $30 CHEAPER than the online version?? next year I'll be switching to another software program.

TurboTax is Awesome!

Turbo Tax is so easy. Even with a home, two kids in college and a few investment accounts, filing our taxes is very easy. Turbo Tax has a very easy interface, it was easy to collect the numbers and fill in the blanks.You guys are awesome!
What's great about it: It is easy to explore different filing options to optimize returns.
What's not so great: We filed at the last minute and had trouble filing - the site was busy.
