Faithful for Nine Years :-)

If I didn't love Turbo Tax I wouldn't have gone back to it for nine years straight! In fact, while most people run from tax prep, I look forward to it every year because, by now, it's like visiting an old friend and seeing what's new. And every year it just gets better. My only concern is that it's hard to find your way back to something unless you go back and forth a few times and memorize the screens. My issue was manually splitting out my property taxes between house / business. I ended up putting the figure in both places and it really skewed my result. In the end I finally was able to split it manually but my concern was that the program accepted it both places. I had three different figures in this item and all three times the program said I had no errors.
What's great about it: Easy to Follow Directions. Takes the much-feared tax code and with easy-to-follow instructions, walks you through it.
What's not so great: Sometimes too many screens to go back and forth when splitting out home / business manually.

GREAT PROGRAM

I HAVE BEEN A TURBO TAX USER SINCE IT HAS BEEN AVAILIABLE, ? MANY YEARS. tOOK HR BLOCK CLASSES AND PREPARED RETURNS FOR FRIENDS AND FAMILY FOR YEARS. USUALLY PRETTY SIMPLE RETURNSBET MINE IS A BIT COMPLEX, RENTAL PROPERTY SMALLBUSINESS AND SOME INVESTMENT INCOME ETC I HAVE NEVER RUN INTO A PROBLEM USING TT TO PREPARE ANYB RETURN
What's great about it: EASYTO FOLLOW, ANY ONE THAT HAS BASIC COMPUTER SKILLS WILL HAVE NO PROBLEMS
What's not so great: NONE, IN MY OPINION

I used another product a few years ago & didn't really care for it. I've been using TurboTax for several years now & like how it helps me with my husband's business income. It is a terrific product.
What's great about it: I realy liked how the "GPS" guided me thru my return & filled out my state return too.
What's not so great: I didn't care for it going back to the summary every time you completed a section

What's great about it: step by step processing, easy to use
What's not so great: I still had to pay a lot, but it wasn't Turbo taxes fault

What's great about it: appreciated the connectivity to online accts
What's not so great: confusing on how to efile. initially loaded web content that looked like it was tryin to charge for federal e-file
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
