If your records are complete, Turbotax Deluxe will ensure your taxes are completed fast and easily. It is impossible to do complicated returns by hand. Turbotax Deluxe is the only reasonable option out there.

I've use this programs for many years now and it has gotten easier to use each year. I don't know how it could be any easier at this point.

Major Glitches

This year TT insisted in giving me pension credits on Ga tax even though I worked the entire year and had no way to correct problem.
Last year filed electonic but was rejected and had to file hard copy - needless to say no refund for the electronic service.

The whole family uses this product. I have 4 adult children and they all love it. Minimal stress and easy to use. Also it's great to be able to import old returns and go back and review is a breeze.
What's great about it: saves money, saves time, optional assistance, friendly
What's not so great: additional expense if want to have state file fee taken out of the proceeds of your federal return.

Gets the job done

I have used Turbo Tax because of it's easy instructions. even the links to explain are helpful. Because our tax system is so complex, I need all the help I can get in figuring out what to file and what the rules are. Thanks Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Easy to understand, covers the average families deductions well.
What's not so great: FAQ's are not specific enough for states with no state tax
