TurboTax - Works as advertised

Overall, this was a great program really walked us thought though all the options in trying to maxize the return. the its deductable is on the web and it gets imported which was very smooth and efficent. The only draw back is with lots of charitable items, it talke a long time to type in all the names and search for tiems. I did not see an option were you could bring up lots of times then select what you need to. Overall it work great.
What's great about it: Help fuction and ballon tips really help thought the maze of the IRS tax codes.
What's not so great: Really did not like the need to have to use its deductable on the web.

With our relatively simple, straightforward return it's always very easy to use. Quick too. We were a little concerned because there were a couple changes to our specific situration from past years but there was no problem. I guess it was something screwy I did that caused the confusion I had because we wanted to mail our federal return and e-file the state. It all worked out in the end.
What's great about it: Guides you through the process
What's not so great: A little awkward mailing one and e-filing another

Another successful year

Despite some initial difficulties at setup where the install was not clean and needed to be redone, TTDeluxe for 2012 was typically easy to use and offered step by step guidance. Further information was always only a few clicks away, and the reviews and double checks offered peace of mind. There was some connectivity problems during the checkout phase, but these were soon resolved. Overall, another solid year for a solid product.
What's great about it: Guide takes you through all the steps
What's not so great: First install crashed

Easy to use, very detailed. I wish there were more explanation of tax code available in layman terms rather than a simple reference to IRS documents.
What's great about it: Walked me through the detailed process of itemized deductions.
What's not so great: It takes a long imne to get an explanation of what is going on

Quick, easy, uncomplicated.

Been using TurboTax for many years now. Wouldn't do it any other way. Every year, I know I can be confident that my taxes are filed on time, they are correct, and I'm getting the maximum return I am due!
What's great about it: I'm confident year after year my taxes are done right!
What's not so great: None.
