Turbo Tax is great!

I love Turbo Tax. We have been using it for years. You can do your taxes in your own home, in your pajamas. You can even work on it for 15 minutes each day if you want and finish it later. The program already has answers to the questions you have and you can still contact them if you have more questions. The program even double checks things and lets you know if you have a higher chance of being audited.
What's great about it: Reliable, fast, easy

Issues e-filing

I have used this product for the last 3 years. I have always had a great experience until this year. The product worked exactly as expected until time to e-file came. There were continued issues connecting to pay for my state return and the whole process ground to a stop.
The telephone numbers given were of no use whatsoever, as I was either electroniaclly routed and hung up on, or simply hung up on.

Hate Paying Taxes - TurboTax Eases Pain

Always good to use TurboTax, even in the worse day of the year for me. Hate paying taxes, so purposely delay paying until the very last day. TT has always been reliable to very end.

I have been a user of Turbo Tax and Quicken for many years. I previous versions I rely on my quicken import features to populate data in the tax return. Now I find that the quicken import features are hard to find, but I can replace most the the import features by directly importing from my bank and investment houses.
I found it difficult to connect to your credit card server -- took 20 or so minutes and a dozen trys, Calling your support line ended up with a busy tone. Not very customer friendl!!. Maybe I should not wait to efile on 4/14.
When if first tried to efile, it wanted to do a further check and presented me with my wife's W2 that was missing all the data. I went back and re-checked the W2s and both were perfect. The second time through went smoothly.
Otherwise it went smoothly
What's great about it: Serves my needs
What's not so great: import of quicken data was confusing

Quick and Easy for the Procrastinator in You

This year's TurboTax experience was better than ever. Love the import feature, so I can bring in all my prior year info and avoid re-typing my W-2s, charities, etc.
Yeah, I waited until the next-to-last minute, but it took less than 2 hours to get done with this software, so it's all good!

Best way to file taxes on your own...

Other than the minor nuisance of having to type in my 1099s from my banks, I love the step by step guidance each way and the way it uses data from your last TurboTax filing to make it easier. This is my 3rd year doing this and I've been absolutely happy and plan to continue going this way in the future.
What's great about it: Pulls data from previous TurboTax filings...
What's not so great: Wish it had my banking institutions to load 1099s..
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
