MEGA REFUND!

OVERALL IT WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE. I LOVED BEING GUIDED THROUGH EACH SECTION. SSA-1099 WAS MY ONLY CONFUSING SECTION BUT FOUND ANSWERS IN THE END BY USING THE QUESTIONS SECTION.
What's great about it: GUIDED ME THROUGH ALL ITEMS NEEDED
What's not so great: SSA-1099 A BIT CONFUSING

Really easy to use. You feel confident with the accuracy. Covers all possible sources of income and deductions thoroughly

I don't know a lot about taxes, but Turbo Tax does a good job walking you through everything, which helps you get more money back. It is a little confusing though when you answer a question one way, and you get several follow up questions that make it seem like you answered another way. I had to go back multiple times to make sure I answered things correctly.
What's great about it: Walks you through step by step.
What's not so great: Difficult to skip some steps that don't apply. Repeats some questions. Some questions were not well explained.

Saved My Bacon!

This program did exactly what my account has done for me for years at a fraction of the cost. If you are not involved in a bunch of private business transactions and "special" circumstance, this is the only tax tool you need.
What's great about it: Easy to use and drove me through my deductions quickly and efficiently.
What's not so great: No real cons. It worked pretty well.

Still great software, no support for Linux

I have been using TurboTax for about at least 12 years, always found it very easy to use and a great product. But I HATE the fact that I can't run it under Linux.
What's great about it: accurate and easy to use
What's not so great: no support for Linux!!!!

What's great about it: Love the transfer of information from last year. Takes me right where I need to go for each entry
