Great Product

This is our 13th year to use Turbo Tax and I have always found it easy to use and understand. One year we decided to use a CPA, who charged us $600.00 and tried to get us to use deductions we didn't have, which we refused to do! Now, I only use Turbo Tax! It leads me in the right direction every time!!
What's great about it: Ease of Use
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Program is solid for most folks - I am finding it more difficult to use the program as situations get more complex. For lesser known items there is less and less support. Soon, we will be calling for professionals. I also found it crazy that they charge for state filing - it's just a way to have a lower acquisition price for the software. I think it should be bundled - all have to file a state return. I can see charging additional if you need an additional state returns and filing. One other item - servers choked at many common times when I tried to file over the last several days - looks like Turbo Tax needs to boost their servers especially near filing deadlines.
What's great about it: Pulls in data from previous year.
What's not so great: Program is getting very cumbersome.

Awesome resource

I have been using turbo tax for years and have never looked back. I am happy with it as it is easy to use and I know I am getting as much if not more back than if I went somewhere else.

Need a better explanation on 1098-t and whose return to file it on....the parent or the dependent students' return...since both returns ask the same questions.

Keep Your Money in Your Pocket!

10 out of 10 once again. If everyone used TurboTax those paid preparers would be out of business. Turbo tax is much easier and less headaches than paying somebody to prepare your taxes. Keep your money in your pocket!
What's great about it: The guide never misses a detail
What's not so great: Too long to receive any answer to my one question even if the answer was "I do not know:.

Turbo Tax is peace of mind during tax filing season. I always feel relieved knowing I don't have to go anywhere to do our taxes and that it will guide me step by step through all the pertinent areas. Thanks Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Makes it easy, no need to go anywhere
What's not so great: Honestly can't think of anything :)

Very easy to use, had some questions regarding the names on certain forms not matching the names on Turbo tax. Overall very easy.
