Another painless experience - 20+ years in use

Long time user of Turbo Tax (and Quicken) - the best there is for personal taxes computer software.
If it's the one that everyone is compairing themselves too, obviously it is the best.
What's great about it: Easily guides you through all the tax forms and filling information
What's not so great: UPDATES - but given the tax laws this year; meh what ever.

Love Turbo Tax

I have found Turbo Tax to be easy to use and understand. I love that the information is tranfered from year to year and from federal forms to the more complicated State forms.
What's great about it: Ease of use and transfer of federal data to State return.
What's not so great: Nothing

Tax Filing for Non-Accountants!

My husband and I work for his family's company. We do a gerat deal of work from home and he has a designated office. We have yet to figure out how to deduct the use of that room.But since everything else is so easy to comprehend, we prefer Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Walks me through all the basic areas.
What's not so great: Home office deductions are still a mystery.

What a relief!

I have used other tax programs in the past and they have been hard to understand and deal with. I have used a CPA and although she was very competent she also cost a lot more than this program. This was easy and complete and I finished my entire taxes in about an hour. Whooohoooo!!

Love this program!

I have used this program for many years now and only get happier with it each year. I have used various versions over the years with changing circumstances and have been very happy with each version. The program is easy to move through using the step by step method. It is also very easy to go back and do modifications on the return before filing.
I highly recommend this program to everyone that wishes to do there own taxes. It is great.
What's great about it: Easy to use and affordable
What's not so great: None that I can think of.

Been using it for years. On several occasions the return was very complex but TT walked me through it. Ran some comparisons for my kids returns with their returns prepared by professional services; either the same or in one case TT found greater deductions and a smaller tax liability.
What's great about it: Systematic, almost dummy proof and can handle complex isues
What's not so great: HSA tax accounting not as clear as it could be. Employer contributed and I contributed.
