Turbotax saves me lots of time every year. I really appreciate to Guide Me mode and the pop-up help files. It helps me understand the tax laws better.
What's great about it: Guide/Interview mode
What's not so great: Additional fees to file state tax

Easy Guided taxes

I've been using Turbo tax since I started doing Taxes 8 years ago, and it get's simpler and easier every year. I question why would anyone go to a tax preparer when you have to do the work anyway of collecting all the paper work they need, when with a few questions Turbo Tax can upload all your forms automatically and then with super easy, guided questions fills all the forms for you. It also provides the assurances you need to made the right decisions.
What's great about it: Simple questions and answer
What's not so great: It's the Taxes

Turbo Tax is very easy to use and explains everything very well. There are a few sections that could use some further detail, but overall a great product.

Great Guidance & Documentation

I keep using Turbo Tax year after year. Once you set up your personal info, it's there for you next year. That really improves accuracy and speed.
I really like the step-by-step process with the clear choices. You know what you're selecting and if you make a mistake, it's so easy to back up and correct it.
What's great about it: Quick Access to Help and Clear Explanations
What's not so great: Problems with Chrome Browser--Use IE as default. Works fine

Registered Domestic Partner returns are a pain.

RDP returns are a mess. Blame the Feds, not Turbo Tax

This is a great product for those who are not tax experts!
What's great about it: I love how it walks you through each section step ny step
What's not so great: I wish there was a better customer service access for questions.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
