Very helpful...a true stress reliever!

I have been using turbo tax for 10 years and have never been disappointed by the product. It makes it simple, stress free, logical, and quick!
What's great about it: Uses plain terms, logical, allows for drill down to forms
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I've been using Turbo Tax for a number of years and have found it very easy to use and file with minimum effort.
What's great about it: Excellent way to file tax returns and very helpful and intuitive
What's not so great: None that comes to mind
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

No for the faint of heart if you are an RDP

At the time I prepared our taxes, my partner had not yet made an IRA contribution. Turbo Tax failed to tell us that there would be a HUGE tax advantage in doing so. Got that info from other sources and they were right. Turbo Tax showed the savings when the IRA amount was input, but still didn't suggest a way to minimize our taxes by suggesting the best allocation of income.
Sound confusing? It is!!!
What's great about it: Detailed, thorough and easy to navigate
What's not so great: Doesn't really step up to the plate for RDP's

Overall I have used turbo tax for 8 years it provides me with everything I need to get my taxes done.
What's great about it: Turbro Tax is easy to use and understand
What's not so great: It could provide more information on some of the deductions

Easy Peasy!

I have used TurboTax for years, and it has always been extremely easy to use and leaves you with a confident feeling that you've covered all the bases as far as allowable deductions, eligible credits, etc.
What's great about it: Leads you by the hand, with detailed, understandable, explanations in the background if you need them.
What's not so great: Having to pay extra for the state e-file.
