My CD Rom drive crashed and I couldn't install the disk. Had to use different computer and was not able to download 2011. I tried to download it on a flash drive and a PDF format would only download. It was basically useless.
It would be nice to have an account number or some other means to download previous info. It took much longer to file due to having to re-enter everything.

When you come back to a section to amend the data, it forces you to reply again to a lot of yes/no questions that you already answered. Does not allow getting back into the system at any location you might like (unless you go directly into the tax forms, which could be hazardous if you don't know exactly on what line the data element you want to change is located).
But on balance, it's an easy-to-use system that I have been using for over a decade, and I don't have a particularly simple return.

This was convenient if you have a busy schedule. It was also a much better price than hr block who charges an exorbitant fee per form. If you are smarter than a fifth grader, this program is for you.
What's great about it: quick, easy, reliable
What's not so great: multiple family members muddy the water

I have been using Turbo Tax for about 15 years now. I absolutely love it. Very helpful & easy to use. Lots of great features. Even years when my taxes have been complicated Turbo Tax saw me through. Can't see myself filing my taxes any other way!
What's great about it: So easy to use, helpful review at end, risk assessment great feature
What's not so great: Cost to e-file state is high...

We have been using Turbo Tax for >5 yrs. It's great to have this tool that saves me time filling out Tax returns.
