Simple and Easy

Turbo Tax keeps tax filing as simple as possible and provides all documents for you to retain for records in both print and electronic form. It covers the majority of situations for the common taxpayer. The price is right, the convenience is outstanding, and you feel much more comfortable that your filing will be correct given the immense back office folks that put this together. Audit defense gives you extra peace of mind. Unless you have a personal relationship with a tax professional or its your hobby, I'd go turbo tax every time.
What's great about it: Walks you through every step with plenty of explanations

Everytime I return to the capital gains section, I am asked (yet again) if I want to upgrade. This is very annoying. It should only ask once, or maybe twice.
Its annoying that I cannot copy&paste a password into the section where you are attempting to download stock data from your broker's web site.
What's great about it: Gets the job done
What's not so great: A little too much advertizing

Tax Time Saver

Although you should NEVER do this, I always wait until April 14th to do my taxes. With Turbo Tax, it takes less than 3 hrs. no matter how complicated my situation is.
Last year was a very basic return, but this year I had stock disbursements and unemployment. I was a bit panicky about the length of time and if it would get done correctly.
The ease of Turbo Tax walked me through each situation and covered everything in detail. Also the detail in which Turbo Tax operates. This year, in particular, I now understand what and where I can get more deductions for next year.
Why pay the cost of an Accountant when you have Turbo Tax on your side. I wish I had this software years ago (it didn't exist) when I got into trouble by not filing my returns.
Thank you Turbo Tax Team.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax saves me time even walking through every step. In less than 3 hrs. I'm done with everything.
What's not so great: Sometimes it was difficulty to know if the software was doing anything.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Amazing as always

I have been using TT for over 10 years. It is getting better and better each year. This year a friend told me to try to use hrblock on line and see which comes out better. I didn't like it because I got stopped and it wouldnt let me come back to an area. This time, I actually waited on line for the chat. He was so helpful. I waited about 70 minutes but he answered all my questions.
What's great about it: It is easy to use.

I've used TurboTax for I don't know how many years. The instructions are always clear and easy to follow, making the process quick and simple. What more could one ask for?

Super Easy

Love Turbo Tax!! It makes filing taxes super easy. I especially loved that it has information for Goodwill donations already loaded so you don't have to jump back and forth to calculate the value of your items. Overall, I absolutely loved using Turbo Tax and with the deduction searches and auto check features, I feel confident I received my maximum refund and that my taxes were done correctly. Thank you Turbo Tax!!
What's great about it: User friendly- especially for first-timers, accuracy checks
