It is great knowing all the tax laws and possibilities, it is so comforting to know that, "I don't have to!" TurboTax knows all of it and raises questions when it doesn't seem right. What a relief.

Save yourself $--do it yourself

I don't understand why anyone would pay someone else to do their taxes when it's this easy to do it yourself. The walkthroughs are a breeze and really makes you forget all about the old days of the manually calculated, paper return
What's great about it: Very thorough and even a dummy could do it!

I always wait until the last minute

I refuse to use a brick and mortar tax place ever again. Turbo Tax has been my go to when filing, I love the simplicity of the software. By the time I file I feel like an expert. I also love that I can wait till the last minute before filing.
What's great about it: Makes it super easy to e-file
What's not so great: Used a new computer this year and had to enter in everything
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TurboTax Deluxe _ so easy, I could use it!

TurboTax Deluxe made entering the required information for my 2012 Federal Tax Return a breeze. "Simple to use' makes it sound more difficult than it is.
What's great about it: TurboTax remembers what to ask, so you don't have to be super organized.
What's not so great: Couldn't think of one!

Why would you go a pay service when this is so easy? Short of having a lobotomy, there is no reason not to use TurboTax
What's great about it: TurboTax does it all for you
What's not so great: The only con is that I have to used the keyboard to enter info. think of initiating a mind reading app. :)

It only took me 10 hours to complete. Could have been quicker if I was netter organized.
What's great about it: Good explainations of each area
What's not so great: Have to make sure you read each line throughly
