Friendly and easy to find items that we are looking for. And the check to ensure we have it correct.
What's great about it: Always asks you for more infomation
What's not so great: Did second return for my son and hard to find some duductions
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What's great about it: I can do the federal, but the state is a wild goose chase.
What's not so great: Paying money for what I can do myself.

I like that you can go directly to topics and not have to stay on the guided method. It would be helpful to have an outline in some areas so you don't have to answer multiple questions before getting to the numbers you want to change (i.e. Schedule Ks).
What's great about it: Fast - Easy to E-File
What's not so great: Would like discount if purchasing Business (LLC) and Personal

I have been using turbo tax for about 4 years now. I use it for my own return as well as for my childrens and my now husband's return. It was very easy to do even when my situation changed from single with children to married with no children. I will continue to use this program for an indefinite amount of time.

Learning Each Year

This is my second year using Turbo Tax. I ran into some confusion when comparing last years filing to this years. Even though there was a side by side comparison. At times I wasn't sure that I was getting the max out of my filing. I would have liked to read the maximum deductions allowed than wait until the end. But then maybe I don't know how to navigate Turbo Tax that well. The help function was ok, but at times I wanted to connect with a "live" person. I guess Delux doesn't give you that option. I found the FAQ confusing sometimes and wasn't sure if these were tax professionals answering or not. But overall I have enjoyed using the software and no doubt will get better. I will look for on-line or local avenues to learn about navigating around Turbo Tax. Are there such classes? Oh, navigating between forms and pages was alittle tough at times. sometimes I closed out and had to come back in.
What's great about it: The prompting and explanations were pretty helpful.
What's not so great: A bit difficult to navigate between forms.
