Can count on TurboTax

All in all, I am pleased with TurboTax. I have been using TurboTax for at least 5 years now and they are the only software that I trust when doing my taxes. The program walks you through each section and makes doing my taxes a breeze. Thank you TurboTax.
What's great about it: Easy to use and understand
What's not so great: Some sections are vague and I have to click on the information tabs.

Experience of Ease

This is such an easy way to go through the entire process of determining taxability and exemptions and deductions. It made the process much more thorough and complete and I love that I am able to do my taxes on my own. It gives me a sense of security that I am being educated in the process.
What's great about it: Such a seamless process to walk through all possibilities of exemptions and deductions
What's not so great: nothing.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax User Review - Thumbs UP

This about the fourth year that I've used Turbo Tax, and it has been extremely helpful and much cheaper than the tax service that I used to use. While I'm frustrated when I see that I don't make it to qualify for a deduction, I really value that I can tell right away from the software why I don't -- e.g., income level or not hitting a minimum threshhold to qualify. Also, when I see the year-over-year amounts, it makes it very clear that the software is updated to meet new laws. Beyond that, the comparision to a national database of people really showed me that I needed to up our deductions and pre-tax contributions. We were paying more than average for our household income and would never have known it without this cool feature. I'm the chief bill-payer and our home financial officer. Nonetheless, I hate doing taxes, but this has made it so much less burdensome. I can start early, then mop up the little outstanding items as a I have time. I particularly like that it lets me save in progress and pick up where I left off. Until the Feds simplify the tax code, this is the way to do it. If only they would add a feature for local taxes too!
What's great about it: Easy to use and helps you to be very thorough.
What's not so great: links to IRS publications are great but still was left with a few questions - should have started sooner & asked online!

Easy as usual

I have tried other tax prep software, but only TurboTax will do for me. The ONE year I tried another tax software, I was cursing all the way through.
What's great about it: It walked me through everything
What's not so great: I don't like paying for the software, then paying to file. Should be all in one.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I hate doing taxes, so I wait intil the last minute. TurboTax is perfect for people like me. makes a horrible task easy.
What's great about it: easy step by step guided process. loved that W-2's were automatically imported
