Easiest filing EVER!!!

I loved it. I have never done my own taxes and this made it so easy!
What's great about it: Extremely easy to use and follow
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

The program allows me to enter, and recheck and make adjustments without a hassel.

This is an excellent product. I only wish the State filing fee was free like the Federal.

Have used Turbo Tax for more than 15 years. Transfer of previous years' data has been very valuable #not just convenient#. I make extensive use of the guided method especially for input but also for corrections. Was easier to use this year.
TT allows use of detailed input data and does the math. this is especially helpful when checking many of the general items.
In general this software forces me to be better organized and makes it easier to tell my wife how to collect and organize our tax source data.

What's great about it: I love the retention of history - past returns. Guided method; able to use detailed input

Best option out there for doing taxes yourself

I have used TurboTax for doing my own taxes for quite a few years now, even when other options like "free" web-based filing or discount software. The one year I purchased H&R Block's TaxCut, I regretted it -- I ended up having to buy TurboTax as well because TaxCut just couldn't cut it!
What's great about it: easy step-by-step process guides you through
What's not so great: tax rules are confusing, so it's hard to organize so many details

Easy process, I've used this product for five years now and prefer it over the H&R Block products
What's great about it: Easy, I really like how everything imports over to the state filing system
What's not so great: Sometimes a bit tricky to know where you are in relation to the actual forms

The only issue I had was with my mortgage document
