Good Filing Experience

I got started later than I hoped to this year. Turbo Tax took me right through all the steps though, no problem.
What's great about it: I am very familiar with Turbo Tax after using it for the past 5 years or so. It is very thorough.
What's not so great: Not really anything.

Makes tax time less painful

I have been using Turbo Tax for the last 8 years and I really like the way it carries your information forward from year to year. This saves a lot of data entry and helps avoid having to look things up from prior years.
The step by step walk through of your return really makes it easy to use.
What's great about it: Information carried forward from year to year really saves time and data entry
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TT Works Well, Mostly

I like the way you can step forward in the Federal AND step backwards and then start up again and still step through. Most of the time, search for certain steps has been eliminated. But, not always!
Some State programs are really good, like Illinois. Others, like Minnesota, are totally lousy. Really a fraud and waste money for the customer.
There also are many minor bugs that eat up lots and lots of time to recognize and work around them. Some are just plain errors and can be dangerous! Ever get hammered on by the descendants of Hitler? You know, the IRS!
What's great about it: Some things greatly improved this year.
What's not so great: Some State programs are terrible!

Totally Confident Tax Return is Accurate!

Turbo Tax software is easy to install and use. The step by step instructions make me feel confident that all information pertaining to my tax return was gathered resulting in an accurate submission with the maximum allowable refund. I appreciate that all calculation worksheets and information provided on my tax return can be printed and saved for my files and future review.
What's great about it: Easy to use software/follow instructions; Provides all calculation worksheets.
What's not so great: Would like to be able to e-file state return without paying an additional fee.

I've been a Turbo Tax user for years and have never had any issues with my tax return. It's to the point where my family uses Turbo Tax as well. It takes me less than an hour to fill out and e-file my taxes each year. Thank you Turbo Tax for making the entire process stress free!
What's great about it: Ease of use, saving information to a PDF file for future reference
What's not so great: Having to pay to e-file state returns

TurboTax for 1st time Users!!

This product is just fantastic! I have had my CPA file my returns for the last 8-10 years. This year I opted to give the TurboTax a try. It was so easy!!! It was a simple, step-by-step process with multiple prompts that brought didn't leave anything out. I'll definitely be a return user next year, and recommend it to any and everyone! Thanks for building a great SW product!
What's great about it: Step-by-step processes made it exceptionally easy!
What's not so great: Only con was the delays in actually talking to someone on the phone, but considering it was 13 April...I can understand!

Going for a pleasant walk

Turbotax is inexpensive compared to a tax company or an accountant! It allows you to go through the steps one at a time and in an orderly manner. It reminds you to think about some items you may forget if you were not using a clear cut system.
What's great about it: I like the fact that Turbotax gives you the ability to calculate your taxes one step at a time and in order.
What's not so great: I really can't think of anything.
