Great tool if you are comfortable with numbers

I have a background in business and understand almost every step. Still I enjoy a little hand holding doing my own taxes. Overall quick and easy for me.
On the other hand my girlfriend is NOT a numbers person and quickly was frighten off by the software so we just did her return together.
While we are at the extremes of the spectrum, most people should have no problems completing their returns.
What's great about it: Great step by step instructions
What's not so great: My girlfriend was lost when trying to show her the software

A great program and easy to use!

Have used TurboTax before but for some reason, this year's version seeded easier than ever to complete. The step by step directions were really easy to follow.
What's great about it: Step by step directions made filing very easy.

Better Than Ever

This years data entry seemed simpler and generated fewer questions about "What's This?" The software seemed to be faster (computer wise) and was easy to use. One improvement I would like to see is the charity information to be alphabetized. After using for several years and with additions and deletions of charities it makes data entry more difficult.
What's great about it: Transfer of data from previous years
What's not so great: Charity Information would be better if alphabetized

Easy, but state filing should be bundled in...

I've been using the online version of TurboTax for years. I think that is still the best option. I bought the CD version this year to take advantage of the Quicken bundle. I think both online and CD versions should be able to more easily import data. But as far as using the software, it is always easy and helps with questions I have about deductions and credits.
What's great about it: Easy to use and easy to find answers
What's not so great: It feels like nickel and diming when you have to pay separate for state filing

Excellent, Proven, Accurate

Excellent program. It is very easy to use, accurate, and boasts the greatest reference materials. I can get through my taxes in less than an hour. I have extensive income and deductions to input but I just import last year and run through the guide with ease. It is an excellent product to highlight deductions and credits. It saved me over 4000 dollars last year.

TurboTax is very easy and explains all the steps you go through. If you have to stop, you can come back to where you were instantly. Thank You TurboTax.
What's great about it: VERY, VERY Easy. Took no time at all !!
