Great All Purpose Tax Product

For years I've talked about how the only choice for doing your taxes was to use a paid tax preparer. Turbo Tax has converted me and shown me a comprehensive, cost-effective way to complete my taxes. The software guides you through the process with simple, easy to understand questions that help you address your own, unique system.
But, there's always more detail and explanation available, if you need it.
I've become a Turbo Tax convert. Thanks for taking some of the cost and pain out of tax preparation.
What's great about it: Simple, Guided process to handle most any tax situation

Fast and Easy Filing

Very fast and easy way to do taxes; particularly if you used turbo tax the previous year, then nearly all of your information is transfered to your current documents. This saves a ton of typing in data. Also you get comparisons to last year's numbers which is a nice secondary check.
What's great about it: Very easy to use, fastest way to do your taxes.
What's not so great: Sometimes seems too fast - feel like there may be something missing.

TurboTax to the Rescue

This was an especially challenging year tax wise. Income in two states for both my wife and myself, plus business expenses from the state we moved from. Just the fact it filled out the two state forms (Oklahoma and Louisiana) for us was worth the price.
What's great about it: Uploaded last year's information. Helped with all the details on livng in two states in one year. E-filing.
What's not so great: I was certain that it automatically save the information for access for next year's tax returns.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Scared Stiff

This year my taxes were somewhat more complicated than before. On top of that, I was filing on the last day, as usual. There was a hiccup or two that was likely attributed to my error. Once I re-input the data, TT took over from there and it got easier. Got a decent refund and filed on time, whew. Will definitely see you again next year. Thx
What's great about it: I liked the way TT went through all the complicated tables and zeroed in on a good return for us
What's not so great: The contact us phone number should be more accessible for medium talented computer geeks like me

2012 Taxes

Overall a good experience. Made compiling the tax package easy
What's great about it: Easy to follow step by step instruction. Good explanations of each catagory. Year to year comparisons were helpful
What's not so great: The biggest problem I ran into was the mysterious appearance of a Schedule B form among the state and federal forms.

Three for Three

Overall Turbo Tax is an easy, great way to get your taxes done. It is simple and question driven. I like the file transfers from prior years - it saves a lot of time and data entry and helps make sure you have everything you need for this year. If you don't have something you had last year you know you have to get it.
I don't like the sales screens. I don't like having to say I will enter it myself every time I get to that screen. Some questions seem unnecessary and redundant.
What's great about it: Love the transfers from prior year. Like being able to do multiple returns and efile!
What's not so great: Hate unnecessary questions that you have to do more than once and don't like sales screens.

Rocked My Refund

TurboTax helped me get the most refund I could get. I was putting off filing because I thought I was going to have to pay the gov't. TurboTax got me refunds from both my state and federal. Thanks TurboTax!
