Turbo Tax Deluxe does a good job working you through the different topics. It could use some work in its handling of Options. All in all, I would recommend it.
What's great about it: Being able to import financial data; Step by step feature
What's not so great: Handles options poorly; Cannot print directly
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Turbo Tax is Great!

I have been using Turbo Tax for several years and it is the only way that I will do my taxes. I just don't see the need to pay someone to do them when I can use Turbo Tax. It is very easy and user friendly. I highly recommend it.
What's great about it: Very user friendly and thorough.
What's not so great: No cons

Hard time navigating for special circumstances

We use Turbo Tax every year and find it to be a great product for a basic tax return. This year, however, we had two unusual situations: we donated a car and I was self-employed for a short period of time. The program was not as user-friendly as I had expected when navigating through those special circumstances. Plus, when I made a mistake, it was hard to undo it. I tried using the online chat feature, but was disappointed that I had to log in to use it. It would have been nice to use that feature as a "guest."
What's great about it: Great product for basic filing
What's not so great: difficult to follow for unique situations
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
