TurboTax Rocks

I've used TurboTax for over 15 years now and have found it the best program of it's type on the market, especially for novices.

Less painful

I have used Turbo Tax many years. I have tried to always do my own taxes. When my taxes became more complicated as I have gotten older, Turbo Tax has grown with me. It is quick and easy. I always recommend this program to all my friends and family.
What's great about it: guided, all subjects covered, done in your time, done at your own home, filed over the internet
What's not so great: Not having a human in front of me

Too many charges

this siftware is easy to follow but not much explanations. Too many charges after completing the process. I have no choice but to cuntinue because I already ourchased the software. I thought upon purchasing this expensive software it's done paying. I should have process my Income Tax on Liberty or other ways...

What's great about it: Easy steop-by-step instructions
What's not so great: Some of the forms are redundant and confusing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax Review

I find K-1 confusing since have 4 K-1s and TT does not have forms for some of the data. The Foreign tax credit does not seem to allow me to put more than 1 country in the form. My foreign tax comes from 1 brokerage frim and if I add 3 countries and follow your instructions it only uses the last one. Finally I go back and use 'Various' . This year I ahd to find for 3800 to get my carryover credits. It did not automatically transfer the data from last year.
What's great about it: I like to be able to jump to forms
What's not so great: The K-1 section was very confusing
