Covered all our filing needs

Taxes were a little more complex this year. TT zipped us right through it. Loading information from prior returns saves a lot of time.
What's great about it: Easy, step by step
What's not so great: None really

TurboTax has been my preferred package for tax preparation for the past several years. Features I like include: a) the ability to upload information from my financial accounts; b) the error and accuracy checking; and c) the guided input of income and deduction information.
What's great about it: Excellent guidance
What's not so great: None

I have used Turbo Tax for 10 years. The program and support hasn't failed me yet. Turbo Tax makes filing taxes quick and easy, helps to find extra tax credits, and makes electronic filing a snap. Awesome job, Turbo Tax!

Disappointed with Turbo Tax this year

I have used Turbo Tax to file my personal and ranch taxes for several years. It is easy to use. This year there was an error reported by many users and it was not corrected. It would not let me e-file my taxes so I had to mail them. I did them right, it was an error in Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Easy and thorough
What's not so great: Had a problem and it was never updated

What's great about it: great customer service when called to help center/ free state tax in spite of downloaded wrong state
What's not so great: only chat timer is wrong when it says 1 minute it reflects may 5 min waiting time
